In the 1990’s, Babbette Hines, collector of vernacular photography, combed through forgotten boxes at flea markets to discover discarded moments in time from photo booths.  The people in these photos are diverse in age, ethnicity, and manner. Their link is that they enter a photo booth, put money in, closed the curtain, and tried not  to blink when the flash popped.
