Photographer Steven Keirstead will talk about his lyrical documentary photography project “Quarries of New England.” Since 2012, Steven has been making diptychs, triptychs, and tetraptychs in mostly abandoned quarries in Maine, NewHampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Presented in conjuction with Koichiro Kurita’s “Voice of the Woods,” large format landscape photography, in the Griffin Museum’s Main Gallery.
Steve’s talk will be at 3:15pm, with reception for the artists to follow.
