Artist Talk and Book Signing: Susan Currie Discusses Her Creative Practice and Her New Book “Once Divided”
Free for Members!

Susan Currie is a Boston based photographer, poet and yoga instructor. Susan will discuss her creative practice and sign copies of her newly released book, Once Divided, a blend of poetic verse and photographic images. Come and join us for an inspirational evening!

“The images are gorgeous, the verse inspiring. Once Divided is the kind of book to slip in a bag and read again and again. Read it aloud, let it be a springboard for meditation or journaling. Share it with your friends. Take it on retreat. Read it in class or give it to your yoga teacher. This deceptively simple yet profound book is a gem.”   Felicia Tomasko – Editor in Chief LA Yoga Magazine

Susan Currie is Managing Editor at BOSTON YOGA, a new media venture from the folks who publish LA YOGA magazine. In addition to curating peace of mind, balance and fulfillment for these two publications, Susan continues to document those lyrical moments of everyday life with both camera and keyboard. Her photographs have been exhibited at the Yawkey Cancer Center at Mass General Hospital in Boston, at the Photoplace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont and most recently at the Touch Gallery in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Beyond her contributions as a writer/editor with LA YOGA and BOSTON YOGA, Susan’s words and images have been featured in the Boston Globe, Elephant Journal, Yogi Times, the Huffington Post, Spirit of St. Bart’s and on the cover of the book Moving into Meditation (Shambala) by Anne Cushman. Susan is also the creator of the Daily Inhale and an RYT 200 registered yoga instructor. She is the author of Once Divided (Shanti Arts 2016), a blend of poetic verse and photographic images. In 2017 its follow up, gracenotes (Shanti Arts), will be released in print. Susan unpacks her various professional experiences through creative workshops she leads throughout the country.
