Town Day Photo Shoot
As part of the Town Day Celebration on Saturday, June 7, 2008 the Griffin Museum will again be having a Children’s Photo Shoot. This will be our third very successful Town Day Photo Shoot. Children between the ages of 5 to 14 are encouraged to photograph the town day celebration. Free cameras will be available at the Griffin Museum booth on Town Day on June 7th from 9:00 – 4 PM. A limited number of cameras are available so please pre-register for a camera by calling the museum at 781-729-1158. Photos taken during Town Day will be on display at the Griffin Museum from June 29, 2008 through July 6, 2006. A reception will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 for all participants and their families. The Griffin Museum would like to thank Sven Andersen of the Andersen Team and Costco for sponsoring this event for three years in a row. Their continued support has made the event possible. Sven Andersen of the Andersen Team is donating the 100 disposable cameras and Costco is developing all of the film and making the prints for the exhibition.

*New Location* The Griffin Museum celebrates the opening its new gallery at the Stoneham Theatre with an exhibition of Fran Forman's photographs. Fran Forman's exhibition Alchemy of Memory will be on view on July 23 to August 30, 2008. The opening reception with the artist will be held on August 16, 4:30-6pm.
The Griffin's Atelier Gallery at the Stoneham Theatre is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 1-6PM, and one hour before each theatre performance. Enter the gallery through the theatre lobby.
