As the public health crisis continues to change, the Griffin Museum of Photography and the Photographic Resource Center have made the difficult decision to postpone the New England Portfolio Reviews. Because we care about your health and safety, following all guidelines suggested by the CDC, WHO, State and Federal Governments banning gatherings over 10 people, we must postpone the reviews until we can mitigate the health concerns and keep everyone safe.
Whether or not you are registered for the reviews, the public is welcomed to attend the portfolio walk and the exhibitions of work from participating photographers to be held at a future date. We needed to take some time to think and grasp all of this.
We have rescheduled NEPR to the weekend of October 2nd through 4th with the portfolio walk the evening of Friday, October 2nd during what we expect to be a period of time where we can gather more safely. But no one really knows this for sure as we have not experienced this before.
This COVID_19 situation changes daily, as we are updated to new information. We hope you will join us in keeping everyone safe and healthy, be patient and work with us as we plan for the new dates in October. Again, as we move forward into this year, everything is subject to change based on existing conditions as we move into the fall.
We are grateful for your support of the Griffin Museum of Photography and Photographic Resource Center and look forward to seeing you in the fall for the class, walk and reviews followed by exhibitions of the portfolio review participants.
We thank you for all the support. We thank our sponsors Digital Silver Imaging, Panopticon Imaging and Sprint who will be with us in the Fall as well. Please honor these sponsors and utilize their services.
Best to all of you and be safe!
