ARTIST’S STATEMENT

Sometimes I find myself unconsciously walking the same streets over and over again. It is early spring and the birds squawk and whistle as a reminder. I feel as if I am experiencing deja vu, though it is likely I have walked this exact route in the past. My legs are light and weak as if I could collapse or float away at any moment. That is not to be the case; I remain upright and grounded, walking still.
