As part of our Photobook Focus programming, the Griffin Museum is pleased to offer 25-minute online portfolio reviews — an opportunity for learning and growth. Presented in partnership with esteemed photographic artists and independent photobook publishers, these focused sessions provide valuable insights and guidance. This setting offers photographers invaluable insights into crafting their photobook vision. Receive direct feedback on your book dummy, design, and sequencing, tailored to the unique demands of the photobook medium. Elevate your project with expert guidance, bridging artistic vision with publishing expertise.

Caleb Cain Marcus is offering eight 25-minute online portfolio reviews on April 9th. There are two ticket options: Member and General Registration. Explore all the benefits of membership on our Member page — we’d love to have you join us! Time slots will be assigned based on availability.

Living in Brooklyn, Caleb was born in the mountains of Colorado, a thirty minutes drive from a town of a thousand people. Exhibitions include at the Ross Museum, the National Academy of Sciences in DC, Telluride Gallery of Fine Art, the Houston Center for Photography, Tufts Art Gallery, and Palm Beach Photo Center.

His work has been published by widely including PDN, American Photo, Conde Nast Traveler, National Geographic, Orion and Audubon and journals including Feature Shoot, Musee, Fraction, F-stop, Slate, Lens Culture, Smithsonian, My Modern Met and Hyperallergic. Caleb is the author of A Portrait of Ice (2012), A brief movement after death (2018) and Iterations (2019). Caleb has judged or participated as a reviewer for the Arnold New Prize, Critical Mass, Medium, LACP, NEPR and Review Santa Fe.

His work is the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Getty Museum, the High Museum of Art, Norton Museum of Art, and Museum of Fine Arts Houston.
