Professional Development Series (PDS) 1: How to create and maintain a dynamic website for lens-based artists with Stella Kramer

Everyone has a website. It’s the landing spot for showcasding your photography and giving your
audience (and potential clients) a more indepth understanding of who you are as an artist.
In this course I will talk about the most important aspects of having an inviting and engaging
website focused on getting people to spend time looking at your work. I will touch on what
makes a great website both in design and clarity of purpose.

About the Speaker

Stella Kramer is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photo editor and the publisher of STELLAZINE, a photozine featuring unique photography of all genres. Stella has worked as a photo editor at The New York Times, People, Entertainment Weekly and many others places.

As a consultant, Stella works with photographers on book projects, website refreshes and photographic projects, helping to direct and strengthen the photography and its presentation.

Stella also teaches in the Masters of Digital Photography program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
