Jürgen Lobert | Artist Talk: The World at Night

August 24, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm

Jurgen Lobert

This is an inspirational narrative about night photography by Jürgen Lobert. Jürgen will talk about the many aspects and sub-genres of night photography as a photo specialty. Night photography is very transformational, converting the familiar and mundane world into colorful, serene views. Night photos also capture time, where people disappear, clouds and cars become streaks, water ripples smooth over and stars form trails in the sky. Jürgen Lobert

The event will be held in person at the Griffin Museum but will also be accessible on the Griffin Zoom Room.

When registering, please choose the ticket type of ‘In Person’ or ‘Online’ so that we will know how many to expect in the museum and online.  If you change your mind and want to switch, it is not a problem.

In person events require all to wear a mask whether vaccinated or not. All in person events are subject to change per the MA Covid guidelines in effect at the time of the event.

This event is FREE to Griffin Museum members. $10 for Non-Members.
