Joyce Boghosian, Shealah Craighead, Sharon Farmer, David Hume Kennerly and Robert McNeely | In The Room Where it Happened – Artist Panel

January 20 @ 2:30 pm 4:00 pm

We are honored to have Joyce Boghosian, Shealah Craighead, Sharon Farmer, David Hume Kennerly and Robert McNeely at the Griffin Museum for a panel discussion about their life and work as White House Photographers. Together they represent over fifty years of shaping our vision of the President of the United States. Their lenses have been trained on the most important events of our time, as well as the moments of quiet reflection we don’t often see.

Moderated by Executive Director Crista Dix, this panel will cover the unique position the White House Photographer holds as a witness to the events that surround them, the moments you don’t see as headlines in the media, and the way these photographers use their craft to define a presidency and history.

Join us in person at the Griffin Museum Saturday January 20th from 2.30 to 4.00pm for this special conversation. A public reception will follow the panel starting at 4pm.
