The Art of iPhone Photography Level 2 with Karen Klinedinst – ONLINE 4 sessions – SOLD OUT

Building on the level I workshop, learn the iPhone native camera app’s more advanced image capture capabilities including shooting RAW or Apple RAW files. Through demos and weekly class assignments, you’ll be introduced to more advanced photo editing techniques with Lightroom Mobile and Snapseed; and experiment with several creative post-processing apps. We’ll also discuss best practices for printing your iPhone images. This course is ideal for the photographer interested in expanding their knowledge of iPhone photography.

Students should have an iPhone 8 or newer model, running the most current operating system.

Prerequisites: Art of iPhone Photography Level 1 OR a good understanding of the native iPhone camera app including native camera shooting modes. Organizing, transferring and backing up of photos is not covered in this Level 2 course.  Students will need to purchase approximately $20.00 in apps for this workshop. A list of apps used in the workshop will be sent to students prior to the first workshop session.

About the instructor:

Portrait of Karen KlinedinstKaren Klinedinst is an artist using photography to explore themes of place, nature and the environment. Inspired by the 19th century landscape painting of the Hudson River School, she creates richly layered landscapes that combine the real with the imagined. Since 2011, she has been using her iPhone and many photo editing apps to create her unique photographic style. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including Soho Photo Gallery, University of Maryland Global Campus, Center for Photographic Art, the Biggs Museum of American Art, and the Griffin Museum of Photography.
