Our hours are – Noon to 4 PM – Tuesday through Sunday. The museum is closed Monday.
We are closed the following holidays – Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
General admission is $9 for adults; $5 for seniors. Members and children under 12 are admitted free. Admission is free to all every Thursday, 2 to 4 p.m.We are part of the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) group. NARM pass holders admission is free.
Winchester residents are free with a valid ID.
The Griffin is proud to partner with the Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program is in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health’s WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of cultural organizations across Massachusetts. Admission for EBT, WIC and ConnectorCare cardholder participants is FREE for entrance to the museum for up to two adults, and children under 12 and students are always free. Cardholder participants who wish to attend our lectures, programs, artist talks and education receive a significant discount of 50% or more based on the program. Walk-ins welcomed. Museum Admission can be purchased in advance.
We want you to be safe and healthy during your visit. If you don’t feel well, please visit when you do feel healthy. Masks are welcome should you wish to wear one while in the museum. We follow the lead of the Town of Winchester, State of Massachusetts, FDC and CDC for COVID restrictions for all towns where a substantial Covid transmission rate is recorded. We have hand sanitizer available throughout the museum.
